Made out of half a sheet of plywood — square 48"x48".
The design idea lies in combining contrasting elements as planes and lines into one. The elevation view silhouette was inspired by a dynamic form of lounge chairs.
Couldn’t be possible without the great help and coaching of @beker.david
I’ve never worked in a woodshop or used a power tool in my life before. The process was completely artistic and experimental.
It was challenging, exciting, frightening, inspiring, sweaty, and pleasing.

The chair was selected for the URBN Building 4th-floor exhibition along with two other students' pieces.
Latest update: The S48 chair found its place at my family home, where it serves its purpose every day.
S48 stands for the inch side lenght and a shape of the 4’x4’ sheet of plywood - 48 Square.
